Custom Equipment Build – Power Pak Build Position

Job Summary:

We offer an exciting opportunity to work alongside some of the most committed and driven people in the industry. We are looking for a skilled Equipment Fabricator / Assembler specialist for custom units produced by Giant Industries to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabrication, assembly, design, re-designs, testing, and performance certification.

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

– Strong mechanical aptitude

– Build / Convert and test pumps, units, and accessories based on requirements

– Ability to read, write, and interpret technical manuals and schematics

– Proficiency in using hand and power tools

– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

– Some travel may be required – less than 5%

General tasks include:

– Understand why products might fail and communicate to others the disposition

– Assist with customer training on repairs and maintenance of pumps, accessories, and systems

– Assist with product design and development for special pumps units

– Clean and perform 5S activities per company policy and guidelines

Education and Experience:

– High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

– Technical education a plus

– Previous maintenance or mechanic experience preferred

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to complete tasks assigned.

Job type:

-Full time, first shift Monday through Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am – 2:00pm

Pay:

$20.00 to $25.00 per hour based upon experience and education
