Five Cylinder pump without Inlet Pressure

THe K 55000-5G is the smallest of 5-plunger pumps, but it is capable of handling 737 HP (550 kW)

This introductory five-plunger pump is an important introduction into a different style of positive displacement pump.  Its special features are the five plungers, that are created in an extremely precise manner, so that they minimize pulsation and reduce the changes of cavitation in the pump.  Up to 170 GPM (640 l/min), positive boost pump pressure is not required.  The 737 HP (550 kW) drive power is particularly designed for large jetting or hydraulic applications.  It is commonly used for rugged mining applications as a workhorse in water hydraulics, steelworks and in large mobile jetting systems for hydro demolition.
